Grades 1-5 Admissions

St. Aloysius's Pierre Toussaint program is made up of 5 classes, grades 1 through 5. We enroll 25 students in each class for a total of 125 students.

St. Aloysius does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, or national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.

Preference is given to families who meet St. Aloysius household income guidelines; families must complete PSAS to determine financial eligibility. All families applying for the Pierre Toussaint program with children who were previously attending a public school must apply for the Cardinal's Scholarship Program.

The admissions process begins each year in February with the St. Aloysius student application and PSAS financial application. The process includes a holistic assessment of the child's readiness for our Pierre Toussaint Program. This assessment includes testing and an interview. Should your child successfully complete testing and the interview, s/he will be invited to register for the coming school year. There is a $125.00 registration fee. Once the fee is paid, the child's seat in the class will be held until the first tuition payment is made. Admission continues until all classes are full. We do utilize a wait list.
