Graduate Support
Although St. Aloysius technically serves students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, we continue to actively support graduates throughout high school and into college.
Alumni whose families cannot afford tuition at good high schools receive financial aid from St. Aloysius. High school students also have access to after-school tutoring, counseling, opportunities for community service, a variety of alumni clubs and activities, paid internships, job training, and SAT preparation classes. The school also assists graduates in researching and applying for college, even making some visits to college campuses.
St. Aloysius works collaboratively with a number of organizations, such as Goddard Riverside Community Center, and requires students to utilize their OPTIONS Center for Educational and Career Choice. Students receiving financial aid for their high school education must maintain at least a C average and give at least 40 hours of volunteer service at St. Aloysius each year. |
