Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Admissions

St. Aloysius's Mother Theodore program is made up of two pre-kindergarten classes and one kindergarten class. We enroll 20 children in each of our pre-kindergarten classes and 25 in our kindergarten, for a total of 65 pre-schoolers.

St. Aloysius does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, or national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.

Pre-K 3 is open to children who will be 3 years old by September 1

Pre-K 4 is open to children who will be 4 years old by December 30

Kindergarten is open to children who will be 5 years old by December 30

Preference is given to families who meet St. Aloysius household income guidelines; families must complete PSAS to determine financial eligibility.

The admissions process begins each year in February with the St. Aloysius student application and PSAS financial application. The process includes a holistic assessment of the child's readiness for our Mother Theodore Program. This assessment includes testing and classroom visit(s). Should your child successfully complete testing and the visit, s/he will be invited to register for the coming school year. There is a $125.00 registration fee. Once the fee is paid, the child's seat in the class will be held until the first tuition payment is made. Admission continues until all classes are full. We do utilize a wait list.
