St. Aloysius Hosts Successful Wine Party!

Principal Carol McCarthy (second from left) and guests.
St. Aloysius's 1st Annual Wine Party was a huge success. More than 60 people gathered on the school's rooftop garden for a fun-filled evening. We are happy to report that proceeds from the event (including ticket sales and the raffle) total $2,040. Ed Duffy, Chairman of St. Aloysius School's Advisory Board, has agreed to match this sum - generating a grand total of $4,080, which will send eight St. Aloysius students to summer camp.
Trade Winds Lake Camp provides our middle school boys and girls the opportunity to spend two weeks of their summer surrounded by the beauty of nature in historic Broome County, New York. There, students learn and bond with each other outside of
the classroom while enjoying hiking, swimming, camping, and an array of other activities. The philosophy of Trade Winds Lake Camp mirrors St. Aloysius's holistic approach, focusing on the "Three Rights: Right Mind, Right Heart, and Right Body." It is an experience our students look forward to each year, and it sets the stage for a productive and successful school year.
All the students, faculty and administration of St. Aloysius greatly thank all those who attended!
If you were unable to attend this year, we hope you will join us in the future. We promise to keep you apprised of future activities and events.
Once again, thank you for your support of the children of St. Aloysius School!
